6 DAY MOROCCO KASBAH TOUR FROM FES

DAY 1: TRAVEL FROM FES – IFRAN – AZROU – MIDELT

As daylight strikes, one would want to get away from Fes and explore other cities and here we go to nature first of all “the Cedar forest” in Azrou where there are monkeys and apes, don’t forget to take pictures with these creatures .and on the road you could enjoy watching panoramic views of both high and middle Atlas mountains. As we arrive in Midelt we’ll be having lunch there and sightseeing the monuments of this gorgeous city .when night falls we’ll be at our hotel.

DAY 2: MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA AND CAMEL RIDE TO SAHAAR DESERT CAMP

Our destination for today is the Sahara, along the way we will be passing by the Ziz River through many villages built with clay until we reach Erfoud and Rissani, quick stops there and we continue to Erg Chebbi dunes which are just beside Merzouga. the special thing about these dunes is that they could reach to a multitude of 150 m. we will leave our cars behind and climb our way through camels to the nomad camp where we will be spending the night, of course, there will be a yummy supper by the campfire while local music is played especially to you.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA EXCURSION

As the light of day strikes, we will be wandering around the desert, off to explore the secrets of this wildlife, we will head towards El Khamlia to dance to rhythms of Gnawa music, and we’ll make a quick stop at both oasis and the village then off to Rissani the then capital of the Alaouit dynasty that is still ruling Morocco, we could visit the tombs of their ancestors if you’d like. There are ancient Kasbahs, souks, and decent restaurants that serve quite dainty pizzas. we will return to the desert to have a mint of tea and chill to soulful music, prepare yourself we will be riding camels for almost an hour, and you’ll enjoy seeing the sunset reflected upon the tops of sandy mountains while being on the road towards your hotel.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – TINEJDAD – TODGHA GORGE – DADES VALLEY

We leave the desert behind early in the morning, on our way, there’s a lot to see like the Todgha gorge, the 1000ft gorge that is filled with vertical limestone cliffs, or as called the grand canyon of Morocco, you’ll have the chance to roam around explore the magic of this gorge, you’ll be mesmerized by the changing colors of these rocks .our journey continues to Dades valley a green and blue landscape that gives life to many desert fruit .night will be spent in this valley.

DAY 5: DADES VALLEY – ROSES VALLEYS – OUARZAZATE

Early in the morning, we will head towards the Valley of Roses, passing by the road of 1000 thousand Kasbahs, houses built of clay a typical southern home. a quick stop in Kelaa Mgouna famous for its blossoming flowers, local habitants use these plants to produce beauty products such as the purifying roses water. We will rest in one of Skoura’s castles when we head to Ouarzazat the African Hollywood, if you’re interested enough we will be having a special tour of the cinema studios and the cinema museum where many international movies were shot. We’ll surely drive by the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi nTichka pass, then we proceed to the Kasbah of Ait ben haddou a Unesco heritage site that also serves as a filming location for many movies such as the Lawrence of Arabia. we’ll enjoy supper in a glamorous Riad or Hotel.

DAY 6: OUARZAZATE TO AIT BENHADDOU AND MARRAKECH

After breakfast is served, we will go right towards Ait Benhadou Kasbah, a world heritage site. we will surely go by the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Talouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. we will stop by a local restaurant in Taliouet to taste a traditional yet delicious lunch. As night falls we’ll go straight to Marrakech. End of our services and the end of the 6 days tour from Fes to Marrakech.
