5 DAY TOUR FROM FES TO EXPLORE MOROCCO

DAY 1 :TRAVEL FROM FES TO DESERT

we will pick you up from Fes  , then we head towards Ifran the Switzerland of Morocco , we’ll visit a winter ski resort with a Moroccan touch , it was built by the French In the late 1930s to seem like a Swiss a village  , then we go to the Cedar forest in Azrou where there are monkeys and apes , don’t forget to take pictures with these creatures . we pay a visit to  Midelt , we’ll get lunch in  a decent reastaurant and then we continue our road ,while observing the striking beauty of ziz valley and the land of dates and fossils “ Erfoud”. Then we will be arriving to our final destination for today “Erg chebbi “ or you might as well call them Merzouga Dunes .we’ll pass the night in a Kasbah nearby the saharian dunes .

DAY 2 :MERZOUGA EXCURSION AND CAMEL RIDE TO CAMP

As light of day strikes we will be wandering around the desert , off to explore the secrets of this wild life , we will head towards El Khamlia  , dance to rhythms of gnawa music , we’ll make a quick stop at both the oasis and the village then off to Rissani the then capital of the Alaouit dynasty that is still ruling Morocco , there are ancient Kasbahs , souks , and decent restaurants that serve quite dainty pizza . we will return to the desert to have a mint a tea and chill to soulful music , prepare yourself we will be riding camels for almost an hour , you’ll enjoy seeing sunset reflected upon the tops of sandy mountains .we’ll stop at a nomad tent to spend the night there under a sky full of stars .

DAY 3 :MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODGHA GORGE – DADES VALLEY

Make sure to wake early so as to have a soulful moment under a sky colored with shades of red and yellow and above perfect sand dunes, what a view ! And it’s just few miles away from the Algerian borders . Worry not today we will have a special kind of breakfast in your hotel to kick off the day right . we will head towards Ouarzazat through the fascinating road of thousand Kasbahs , you’ll be seeing the tops of tall sandy castles , as a matter of a fact this destination is filming location for numerous movies such as The Last Temptation of Christ, Jewel of the Nile, and most recently Hideous Kinky . As we reach the valley , you will surely be struck by how this landscape is romantically different , we will have lunch there and if you want you could wander among the tidy Todgha gorges . Then we will be going to the Dades valley to have dinner and sleep tight there .

DAY 4 :DADES VALLEY- ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE- AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH

Buckle up your safety belt because this journey still isn’t over , our next stop is the one and only Ouarzazat the African Hollywood , if you’re interested enough we will be having a special tour in the cinema studios and the cinema museum where many international movies were shot . We’ll surely drive by the High atlas mountains and Tizi nTichka pass , to add a bit of adventurous flavor to our tour we’ll drive through a road that its altitude reaches up to 2260 m . And  as afternoon comes we’ll be found in Marrakech .

DAY 5 :GUDIED EXCURSION IN  MARRAKECH

Marrakech is one of the most visited cities in Morocco and worldwide, it’s often called the red city , so today’s gonna be dedicated only to getting to know this mysterious area , we’ll visit Jamaa el Fna square , take quick snaps with snakes and monkeys , listen to story tellers or watch dancers and musicians practicing their passion. our next stop is at the Bahia palace , then to Badii palace , Saadian tombs , Koutoubia mosque . If you are interested you could visit the Majorelle Garden or local souks by evening we will head towards our hotel or Riad as you chose.
