DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT MARRAKECH

On your arrival in Marrakech, we will pick you up at the Menara airport and move with you to a Riad in the medina, the city’s historical core, which is just two minutes on foot from the renowned Jemaa El Fna square. The best course of action in the afternoon is to independently explore the Medina and make your way to the square, which in the evening is crowded with storytellers, jugglers, diviners, and other performers. We will spend the night in the Riad.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH TO OUARZAZATE VIA AIT BEN HADDOU

The hotel is where you will be picked up. In our journey, we will travel through numerous small villages after leaving the red city. We will examine panoramic views as we approach Tizi N’Tichka’s highest pass. Most of the time, it is covered in snow during the winter. On its terraces, we will snap some photos. Before visiting the unique fortification site, we will continue our road to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for lunch. UNESCO has registered it as a World Heritage Site. The village has served as a backdrop for many films, including The Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and even some scenes from the classic Game of Thrones. Seven families remain in the old village of Ait Ben Haddou; the rest have relocated to the other side of the valley, which is more modern. Ait Ben Haddou served as a rest stop for caravans traveling through the Ounila Valley. Either the merchants exchanged goods before returning to the desert to rest, or they continued on to Marrakech. They traded salt, silver, and slaves. We will travel through a number of villages before reaching Ouarzazate. We will go to Taourirt’s lovely Kasbah and the cinema museum. Ouarzazate is a popular international filming location. As a result, international film production experts are being enlisted. We will spend the night in Ouarzazate.

DAY 3: DADES GORGES AND TODRA GORGES TO MERZOUGA

Our morning starts with Berber and a delicious breakfast. Our team guide will drive you from Dades Gorges to Erg Chebbi, directing you to the desert at Merzouga. Berber villages are distributed along the way. We will go through Todra Gorges, Tinjdad, and Erfoud, where we will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis. Then we continue driving to a hotel in Merzouga. After a few minutes of relaxation, you will take some of your luggage in a small bag (only what you need for the night in the desert) and leave the rest at the hotel. Following that, we will ride camels across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. This is an excellent opportunity to photograph the sunset, sunrise, and millions of lights of stars. By the time we arrive at the camp, we will have walked to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and watching the sunset. We will spend the night in the middle of the Sahara in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drumming music in a high ambiance.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT – NOMADS FAMILIES – KHAMLIA VILLAGE – ERG CHEBBI

Spending the entire day in the desert will be an amazing thing. If you are in the middle of the desert, it is definitely worthwhile to wake up early to take in the most breathtaking sunrise you have ever witnessed and to appreciate a landscape that is a gift from nature. After dawn, we ride the camels back to Merzouga. We will eat our traditional breakfast. The Big Dune of Morocco is located in the Erg Chebbi, a vast extension of the sandy desert, which we will then skirt around the golden dunes. The height there exceed 250 meters. The “Paris-Dakar” route is currently extended along a road that ends in the mountains along the Algerian border. Stopping at the Tissardmin Oasis, which still has nearby fossil quarries, is a wise move. Additionally, as we move forward, we pass by nomad settlements and can discover their traditions and secrets. The next stop will be at an observation point to think about Erg Chebbi. We will then proceed to Khamlia Village, a Mali-based settlement, where there will be a concert of Gnawa spiritual music. After arriving at your lodging, you have the rest of the day free to explore the neighborhood or watch the sunset over the dunes next to the hotel. Dinner and the night of course will be in the hotel.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI MARKET – ERFOUD FOSSIL’S – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

The best sunrise reflections that you have ever seen can be seen around the camp. However, you have to get up early to see it. After having breakfast in Merzouga, we follow the road to Rissani to explore the market of dates-the fruit of palm trees, and then go to Erfoud to discover the companies that make fossilized marble. In addition, we will follow the river’s course through the Todra Gorges due to their unique views and steep rock sides deserve to be seen. It has carved-out cliff sides that are loved by climbers, and it is highly advised to take a quick stroll through the gorges to fully appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Furthermore, we will take a brief break now for views, and we will arrive at the Dades valley hotel to spend the night, which includes dinner.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – ROSES VALLEY – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

Following breakfast at the hotel, we can take in the numerous Kasbahs and the unique scenic features of each one. Then we proceed along a road lined with various Kasbahs of tourist interest. Our first stop in Ouarzazate will be the Kasbah of Taourirt, which was formerly the residence of the Glaoui or Marrakesh pasha. In addition, if you are interested, we can visit the film studios or the movie museum. We pass through the Tizi N’Ticheka mountain port on our way back to Marrakech, stopping occasionally to take pictures. We now leave the lunar landscape and come to another colorful viewpoint. Likewise, we will arrive in Marrakech either late in the day or early in the evening, transport you to your hotel, and then stop for the day.

DAY 7: VISIT THE MEDINA AND MARRAKECH HISTORICAL MONUMENTS

With a local guide, we will begin our excursion in the morning by touring Marrakech’s Medina. Our admiration will be directed toward the Koutoubia Minaret and the enormous wall that encircled the Medina. The tower in Seville’s Gerald and this one are exact twins. Before reaching the Jemaa El Fna square, where the surroundings are completely different from at night, we will then pass by the Saadian Tomb, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Gardens, and so forth. You can spend your evenings exploring Medina’s hidden gems or honing your haggling skills in the souk. The Riad offers lodging.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH – AIRPORT

Like every morning, we will enjoy our breakfast, and you will have some free time in the morning before it has time to leave. In the end, we will take you to the airport, where we will assist you with your luggage and point out the boarding door. Our service has ended.
