6-DAY MOROCCO KASBAH TOUR FROM FES

After breakfast, we meet you at your riad and begin our journey toward the south.
As we leave Meknes behind, the scenery slowly opens into wide plains and gentle hills before rising toward the Middle Atlas Mountains.
You will notice how the colors change, how the air becomes fresher, and how small Berber towns appear one after another along the road.

As we continue driving, we pass near Azrou and Midelt, areas known for cedar forests, mountain plateaus, and peaceful local life.
We travel at a comfortable pace, stopping whenever you wish for photos, tea, or a short break.
You truly feel the landscape changing step by step from green hills to rocky mountains and then to open desert views.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the beautiful Ziz Valley, one of the longest and most impressive oases in Morocco.
Here, you can take pictures, walk a little, and admire the thousands of palm trees, old kasbahs, and villages that stretch along the river.
This valley shows how life has existed for centuries in harmony with nature.

By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, the gateway to the golden Erg Chebbi dunes.
Your camel guide will welcome you, and together you begin a sunset camel ride across the soft sand.
As the sun goes down, the dunes slowly change color from bright gold to warm orange and deep red.
It is a peaceful moment, full of silence and beauty, and one you will never forget.

When night arrives, we reach our desert camp, where warm hospitality is waiting for you.
You enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the fire (weather permitting), and a sky full of stars above you.
It is the perfect way to end your day in the Sahara.

We begin the morning gently. You can wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a beautiful moment when the desert is quiet, pure, and full of soft colors. It is the perfect way to say goodbye to the Sahara.

After breakfast at our camp, we leave Merzouga and start driving toward the town of Erfoud, a place famous for its fossils and unique desert landscapes. As we travel, you will see how the dunes slowly fade and the land becomes rocky and wide again.

Our road continues toward the Todra region, where one of Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders is waiting for you the Todra Gorge.
When we arrive, you can walk between the tall limestone cliffs that rise like walls of stone on both sides. The air is cool, the river runs gently through the canyon, and the sound of flowing water brings a peaceful feeling. This is a wonderful place for photos, short walks, and enjoying nature at its best.

Later in the afternoon, we continue our journey to Boumalne Dades, in the heart of the Dades Valley. This valley is known for its dramatic rock formations, mountain views, and old Berber villages built from earth and stone. The road offers amazing scenery, especially as the sun starts to set.

By early evening, we arrive at your hotel in the Dades Valley. A warm dinner, a comfortable room, and a calm atmosphere are waiting for you the perfect way to rest after a full day of travel and discovery.

After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey through the beautiful Dades Valley, a region known for its soft morning light, small Berber villages, and peaceful mountain views.
As we drive, you will see gardens, farms, and traditional houses built from earth and stone  a calm and authentic side of Morocco.

Our first main stop of the day is Kalaat M’Gouna, the famous Rose Town.Here, you can visit a small rose cooperative to learn how local families make rose water, creams, and natural perfumes using traditional methods. In spring, the whole valley is filled with the sweet scent of blooming roses.

We then travel toward the green and peaceful Skoura Oasis, one of the most beautiful palm oases in the south.
Here, we stop to explore the legendary Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved fortress that appears on old Moroccan banknotes.
You can walk through its rooms, climb the towers, and learn about the history of the Berber families who lived here for generations.
The oasis around it, full of palm trees and farmland, creates a soft and relaxing atmosphere.

After enjoying Skoura, we continue our drive to Ouarzazate, a sunny and welcoming city often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
The desert landscapes around the city have been used for many international films and series.

If time allows and you wish to visit, we can take you to:

The Cinema Studios where many famous movies were filmed

These visits give you a deeper understanding of the city’s culture and film history.

In the late afternoon, we check you into your hotel or riad in Ouarzazate.
You can relax, enjoy a warm dinner, and spend a quiet evening after a full and beautiful day of exploration.

Overnight: Hotel or Riad in Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we leave Ouarzazate and continue our journey toward Marrakech.
Our first stop is the famous Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful ksars in Morocco.
Here, you can walk through the narrow alleys, explore the old clay houses, and visit the streets that appeared in many films and series.
If you wish, you can climb to the hilltop viewpoint, where a wide and peaceful panorama waits for you.

After visiting Aït Ben Haddou, we continue deeper into the mountains to visit the historic Kasbah Telouet, once the home of the powerful Glaoui family.
Inside this kasbah, you will discover beautiful painted ceilings, colorful tiles, carved wood, and long quiet rooms that tell the story of a different time in Moroccan history.
Standing between the mountains, Telouet feels calm, hidden, and full of culture   a true treasure of the High Atlas.

From Telouet, we continue climbing into the High Atlas Mountains. The scenery becomes dramatic and beautiful: green valleys, mountain peaks, and small Berber villages built along the hillsides.
We cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road in Morocco, with many chances to stop for photos and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

By late afternoon or early evening, we arrive in Marrakech, the lively “Red City.”
Your driver will take you to your riad or hotel near the medina and help you settle in comfortably.

This day brings together history, mountains, kasbahs, and unforgettable views   a beautiful way to end your journey before exploring Marrakech.

Overnight: Riad or hotel in Marrakech

After breakfast at your riad in Marrakech, we meet you and begin our gentle drive toward the Atlantic coast. As we leave the busy streets behind, the road becomes quiet and open, passing through small villages, olive trees, and argan forests where you may even see goats climbing the branches. Slowly, the air becomes fresher, cooler, and filled with the smell of the ocean a completely different side of Morocco waiting for you.

When we arrive in Essaouira, you immediately feel the change in atmosphere. The city is calm, artistic, and full of soft blue and white colors. The sea breeze welcomes you, and the sound of waves mixes with the distant calls of fishermen and seagulls. Essaouira has a gentle rhythm that makes you feel relaxed from the moment you enter.

We give you free time to explore the town at your own pace. You can wander through the blue and white medina, visit small artisan shops selling thuya wood, jewelry, paintings, and handmade crafts. The fishing port is one of the highlights , colorful blue boats resting on the water, fishermen working with their nets, and beautiful views of the sea walls and Atlantic waves. If you enjoy seafood, Essaouira is one of the best places in Morocco to try a fresh and delicious lunch (optional).

You may also walk along the beach, sit by the port, enjoy a coffee, or simply breathe the soft ocean air and let your mind relax. Essaouira is a town where time feels slower a perfect place to end a long journey.

In the afternoon, we begin our drive back to Marrakech. As the sun sets, you will feel how beautifully your adventure has moved from ancient cities, forests, mountains, kasbahs, gorges, and desert dunes to the refreshing Atlantic coast.By early evening, we arrive in Marrakech and we drop you off at your accommodation.

Here, your 6 day tour from Fes comes to an end.
