Day 1: Arrival in Fes

Upon arrival in Fes, we’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your traditional riad in the heart of the old Medina. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or enjoy your first walk through the winding streets of Morocco’s oldest imperial city.

Day 2: Discover Fes Through Your Lens
Today, we’ll explore the heart of Fes with a local guide, discovering one of the most fascinating and authentic cities in Morocco.
Wander through the ancient Medina, where narrow alleyways lead to traditional artisan workshops, colourful markets, historic monuments, and the famous tanneries. Around every corner, you’ll find scenes of daily life, beautiful details, and centuries-old traditions that make Fes a dream destination for photography.

Day 3: Fes - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Sahara Desert
Today, we leave Fes and journey south toward the Sahara Desert, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, cedar forests, and some of Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes.
Along the way, we’ll stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the magnificent Ziz Valley, where endless palm groves create stunning patterns and compositions for landscape photography. As the scenery gradually changes from mountains to desert, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture the contrasts that make Morocco so unique.
By late afternoon, we arrive at the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, we’ll enjoy a camel trek into the heart of the Sahara, searching for the perfect location to photograph sunset as the dunes glow with shades of gold, orange, and red. After sunset, continue to your luxury desert camp, where a traditional dinner and one of the clearest night skies in Morocco await perfect for stargazing and night photography.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early to photograph sunrise over the Sahara Desert, when the first light paints the dunes in beautiful shades of gold and orange. This is one of the most rewarding photography moments of the journey.
After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and travel toward the spectacular Todra Gorge. With its towering canyon walls, dramatic light, and local life, the gorge offers wonderful opportunities for both landscape and travel photography.
Later, we continue to the breathtaking Dades Valley, a region known for its winding mountain roads, ancient kasbahs, traditional Berber villages, and striking rock formations. As the afternoon light softens, we’ll have time to capture some of the valley’s most beautiful scenery before settling into our hotel for the evening.

Day 5: Dades Valley - Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we continue our photography journey through some of southern Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes. Travelling through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate, we’ll enjoy changing scenery, traditional villages, palm groves, and endless opportunities to capture the beauty of rural Morocco.
Our main stop today is the legendary Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most photographed landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its ancient earthen architecture, narrow alleyways, and dramatic hilltop setting, this historic kasbah is a dream location for photographers interested in culture, architecture, and storytelling.
Later, we cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains on our way to Marrakech. Along the route, we’ll stop at scenic viewpoints where mountain landscapes, Berber villages, and beautiful light provide the perfect ending to another rewarding day of photography in Morocco.

Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to capture authentic scenes of daily life, from craftsmen at work and bustling market stalls to the rich colours, textures, and details that make Marrakech so unique.
As the day unfolds, we’ll explore some of the city’s most iconic locations before ending around the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, where storytellers, musicians, food stalls, and local life create endless opportunities for street and cultural photography.

Day 7: from Marrakech to Essaouira
Today, we leave Marrakech behind and travel to the Atlantic coast, where a completely different side of Morocco awaits. Along the way, you’ll notice the landscapes gradually changing as we make our way toward the charming seaside town of Essaouira.
Known for its blue fishing boats, historic ramparts, whitewashed streets, and relaxed atmosphere, Essaouira is a favorite destination for photographers. The combination of ocean views, coastal light, traditional fishing scenes, and old city walls creates endless opportunities for travel and street photography.
In the afternoon, enjoy exploring the Medina, wandering through the harbour, and photographing the unique character that makes Essaouira one of Morocco’s most beautiful coastal towns.
