After breakfast, we meet you at your riad and introduce you to your local Fes guide, someone who knows every story, every corner, and every hidden detail of this ancient city. Together, you step inside Fes el Bali, one of the oldest and largest medinas in the world a place where history and daily life come together beautifully.

As you walk through the medina, the atmosphere feels alive. Narrow streets twist between old homes, colorful markets fill the air with spice scents, and artisans work with the same tools and traditions their families have used for generations. Your guide leads you gently through this maze, stopping often to share small stories, cultural details, and the meaning behind local customs.

You may visit the historic Al Qarawiyyin University, one of the oldest continuously operating universities in the world. You will also see the famous tanneries, where leather is colored in large stone pits, and the traditional pottery and mosaic workshops, where skilled craftsmen shape beautiful Moroccan designs.

Along the way, we pass the impressive gates of the Royal Palace, walk through the cultural Jewish Quarter, and explore old madrasas with carved wood, zellige tiles, and peaceful courtyards. From certain viewpoints, you can look down over the medina and see its rooftops stretch endlessly like a living tapestry.

The day moves slowly and softly full of stories, colors, and beautiful moments. By the end of the tour, you will not only have seen Fes… you will have felt its soul.

Mountains, forests, valleys your first night in the Sahara

After breakfast, we leave the historic streets of Fes and begin our gentle journey toward the warm colors of the Sahara Desert. As we travel south, the landscapes change beautifully around you from green hills to tall forests and open mountain spaces.

Our first stop is Ifrane, a clean mountain town known as the “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” With its tidy streets and cool air, it feels calm and refreshing the perfect place for a soft morning break.

A short drive brings us to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where the friendly Barbary macaque monkeys live among tall cedar trees. You can enjoy a peaceful walk in nature, take photos, and breathe the fresh forest air before continuing our journey deeper into the mountains.

As we cross the Middle Atlas, the scenery becomes wide and open. Rocky plateaus stretch toward the horizon, and small Berber villages appear between the hills. Life here is simple and natural, and the landscapes show the quiet beauty of rural Morocco.

Soon, the views open into the long and beautiful Ziz Valley, one of the largest palm oases in Morocco. The valley is full of date palms, old kasbahs, farms, and small villages all surrounded by warm desert cliffs. We take time to stop for photos so you can enjoy this soft and green oasis before entering the desert region.

By the afternoon, the first golden dunes of Merzouga appear like a dream on the horizon. This is your gateway to the Sahara. When we arrive, your camel guide welcomes you and leads you gently across the soft dunes toward your camp.

As the sun begins to set, the desert turns gold, orange, and pink a peaceful moment that feels magical. At the camp, you enjoy a warm Moroccan dinner, Berber drums around the fire, and a quiet night under a sky full of stars.

Nomads, fossils, oases the deep soul of the Sahara

We begin this morning slowly, welcoming the soft light of the Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, we start a full 4×4 desert excursion, allowing you to discover parts of Merzouga that most travelers never get the chance to see. Today is all about real desert life the people, the landscapes, the silence, and the deep culture of the Sahara.

Our first drive takes you across the black volcanic desert, a place shaped by ancient lava and time. The contrast between the dark stones and the golden dunes makes the Sahara feel even more powerful and unique.

A special moment of the day is visiting a nomad family living in traditional tents made of wool and clay. We sit with them, share tea, and listen to their stories about life between the dunes moving with the seasons, caring for their animals, and living simply in harmony with the desert. These human moments are warm, honest, and unforgettable.

We continue to Khamlia, a small village known for its rich Gnawa music. The musicians welcome you with rhythm, drums, and singing that comes from African and Moroccan traditions. Their music is full of soul and history, and the experience is always emotional and joyful.

Our excursion also takes us to old mines and fossil areas, where you can see ancient stones that tell the story of a time when the Sahara was covered by water. Holding a fossil in your hand makes you feel the timeless story of this land.

Finally, we visit a small, hidden desert oasis surrounded by tamarisk trees a quiet place where you can rest, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy the perfect silence of the Sahara.

In the afternoon, we return to your hotel or camp in Merzouga. You can relax, swim in  your hotel has a pool, walk on the dunes, or enjoy a peaceful evening with tea and warm desert light.

Canyons, rivers beautiful mountain roads

After breakfast in the desert, we say goodbye to the golden dunes of Merzouga and begin our journey toward the mountains. As we drive, the scenery slowly changes from soft sand to rocky hills, green oases, and small Berber towns where life moves peacefully and naturally.

By late morning, we arrive at the impressive Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most stunning natural wonders. The canyon walls rise high above you, creating a cool and quiet passage with a small river running gently through the valley. We give you plenty of time to walk inside the gorge, enjoy the fresh air, feel the power of the cliffs around you, and take beautiful photos.

After this refreshing stop, we continue toward the calm and scenic Dades Valley. Along the way, you will see red mountains, green fields, and traditional Berber villages built from earth and stone. The valley has a soft, peaceful energy a place where farmers work in their gardens, families gather outside their homes, and children play along the river.

As we drive deeper into the valley, the landscape becomes even more beautiful, with unique rock formations shaped by wind and time. The colors of the mountains change gently with the afternoon light, giving the whole area a warm and welcoming feeling.

By evening, we arrive at your hotel in the Dades Valley, where you enjoy a warm dinner and a restful night surrounded by the calm of the mountains.

Kasbahs, film sets  the beauty of the High Atlas

After breakfast, we leave the peaceful Dades Valley and begin our road toward the south. The landscapes slowly open into warm desert colors and small Berber villages, where life moves gently and families still follow old traditions. As we travel, you will feel the peaceful rhythm of southern Morocco.

Our first stop is Ouarzazate, a sunny and quiet city often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Many famous movies and series were filmed here because of the natural desert scenery and the beautiful light of the region. It’s a perfect place to understand how cinema and Moroccan culture meet in one unique atmosphere.

We then continue to the legendary Aït Ben Haddou, one of the most beautiful traditional villages in the entire country. This UNESCO World Heritage ksar is made of clay houses, narrow alleys, and ancient towers. As we walk slowly through the old paths, you can imagine the caravans, traders, and families who lived here centuries ago. From the hilltop, the view across the valley is calm, golden, and unforgettable.

After exploring Aït Ben Haddou, we follow the road into the High Atlas Mountains.This part of the journey is full of breathtaking scenery  deep valleys, winding roads, and traditional Berber homes built into the hillsides. We stop whenever you wish so you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and take beautiful photos of the panoramic views.

By the late afternoon or evening, we arrive in Marrakech, the vibrant Red City. As we reach your riad or hotel, your 6 day tour gently comes to an end, carrying with you warm memories of mountains, kasbahs, desert nights, and the beautiful people you met along the way.
