We begin the morning in the peaceful Dades Valley, surrounded by red mountains, quiet villages, and the fresh air of the south. As we leave the valley, the road leads us through the beautiful Tinghir Valley, a long stretch of green palm trees and traditional mud-brick houses that give you a true feeling of Berber life.

Soon, we arrive at the impressive Todra Gorge, where the tall canyon walls rise high above the small river. You can enjoy a short walk here, breathe the cool mountain air, and take photos of this stunning natural wonder.

After visiting the gorge, we continue our gentle drive through Tinejdad, passing small villages, open landscapes, and scenes of everyday desert life. The scenery slowly begins to change as we move closer to the Sahara. The colors become softer, the land becomes wider, and the dunes begin to appear on the horizon.

By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, home of the magical Erg Chebbi dunes. Before the sun sets, we take you to one of the highest dunes to enjoy a peaceful moment as the sky turns gold, orange, and pink. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the entire journey, a quiet moment you will never forget.

After enjoying the sunset, your camels are waiting to take you across the soft dunes to our luxury desert camp.

We begin the morning by waking you gently so you can enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, a soft and peaceful moment that feels like the Sahara is breathing with you. After breakfast at the camp, we start a calm and cultural day around Merzouga.

Our first stop is Khamlia Village, where we sit with Gnawa musicians who share their traditional African-Berber desert music. Their warm smiles, deep rhythms, and beautiful songs tell stories of love, freedom, and life in the Sahara. It’s a moment that touches the heart.

Then, we continue into the open desert to meet nomad families who still live in simple tents among the dunes. This is one of the most special parts of the day. We sit together, share tea, listen to their stories, and learn about their quiet and honest way of life, a life connected to nature, camels, and the open sky. Their kindness and simplicity make this moment unforgettable.

If you like, we can also visit the fossil areas near Erfoud or the peaceful Sriji Lake (seasonal), where flamingos sometimes gather when the water returns.

In the afternoon, we take you to a beautiful hotel beside the dunes, where you can relax by the swimming pool, enjoy a slow sunset walk, or simply sit on the terrace and watch the colors of the desert change as the sun goes down. It is the perfect place to rest after a meaningful day.

After breakfast at our riad near the dunes, we start our journey back to Fes. It is a long drive, but the road is full of beautiful changes. Along the way, you will see calm landscapes, small villages, and peaceful valleys that make the trip relaxing and enjoyable.

As we leave Merzouga, the golden dunes slowly fade away, and the land opens into wide desert plains. Soon, we arrive at the Ziz Valley, a stunning area filled with thousands of palm trees following the river. From this side, the valley feels softer, greener, and full of traditional clay villages. We stop here to take photos and enjoy the fresh air of the valley.

We then continue toward Midelt, driving through quiet mountain roads. Along the way, you may see shepherds with their animals and simple Berber homes spread across the hills. Your driver is always happy to stop whenever you wish for photos, a coffee break, or a short walk.

As we enter the Middle Atlas Mountains, the weather becomes cooler and the scenery greener. We pass near the cedar forests of Azrou, and if we are lucky, we may see monkeys playing by the roadside. The mountain air here feels fresh and peaceful.

In the late afternoon or early evening, we arrive in Fes. Your driver will take you directly to your hotel or riad, help with your luggage, and say goodbye with warmth and thanks.
